Our vision
All children deserve to be encouraged to reach their full potential. Children with special needs in the Philippines are often told what they can’t do instead of being encouraged to reach for what they can do. Because of this, Chris is planning to partner with locals to establish STARS community groups within the local neighborhoods. The program aims to encourage children with special needs to be Smart, Teachable, Adaptable, Ready, and Successful.
These groups will :
- bring families with children with special needs together to facilitate the pooling of resources.
- help obtain therapies and doctors they could not afford on their own.
- provide support groups and Bible studies that will help these families know an amazing God loves them.
- facilitate volunteers to travel to the area to offer expert advice.
